Compliments of Lakeview Memorial Park
Catherine was a woman in perpetual motion. For most, raising six kids would be more than enough of an endeavor. Catherine worked three jobs on top of all that. She fed the hungry at Frank's Deli, worked the concession booth with her husband at the Pennsauken Drive-In and crossed the children at Pine and Cooper. Fridays were for fishsticks, but her most popular dish was cream chip beef on mashed potatoes, her husband's favorite. If her T.V. was on she'd be checking out some Dancing with the Stars or some old movies. Of course she'd give everyone a heads up any time Gone with the Wind was on. But more than anything she loved to read; she preferred romance novels but, in reality, she'd devour anything she could get her hands on. She'd meet a guy named Richard in Riverside. They'd wed and be blessed by six children, Richard (Linda), Linda Gould, Susan (Andrew) Griffin, Penny (Paul) Stankiewicz, Edward (Lea) and Doug; 12 grandchildren; 24 great- grandchildren and four great-great-grandchildren with one more on the way. Come celebrate 84 great years Saturday 9 to 11 a.m. at Sweeney Funeral Home, Beverly where there will be an 11 a.m. service. Interment Lakeview Cemetery, Cinnaminson.
