Albert Cook, Jr. passed away peacefully at his home in Cinnaminson NJ with his family and caregiver by his side. Albert was born May 7, 1920, in Cincinnati, Ohio, to Maude and Albert Cook Senior. He graduated from Hartwell High School in Cincinnati, OH, and then attended Miami University of Ohio where he met his future wife, Jane Winter. Jane and Bert married on Oct 31, 1942 and remained married until Jane’s passing in 2009. After graduation in 1942, Albert joined the army and served his country during WW II, reaching the rank of Warrant Officer. After his separation from the army in 1946, Albert and Jane settled in Pennsauken NJ where they raised their 3 children. In 1986, Albert and Jane move to Cinnaminson, where Albert lived until his death. Albert was known as Bert to family members and Al to his many business friends and associates. Al was an entrepreneur by nature and established several businesses in Pennsauken and Cinnaminson, including Mid-Atlantic Engine Supply Corp. in 1964, with whom he eventually partnered with his son Chuck. Al was naturally athletic and continued to play tennis well into his 80’s. He was an active member of the 1st Presbyterian Church of Merchantville singing in the choir for many years. Bert and Jane had a summer cottage on Glen Lake in Northern Michigan, where they spent many memorable weeks each summer with children, grandchildren, relatives, and friends. Albert is predeceased by his parents, wife, Jane, his brothers Bob and Joe, and his sister Margaret Underwood. He was greatly loved and will be missed by his children, Chuck and wife Susan, Bob, and Ellen, and by his caregiver, Jackie Samson. He was also greatly loved will be missed by grandchildren Jean Cook, Kevin Cook, Mary Ellen Sarno, Alison Cook, and Tina Wolfschmidt. Albert is also survived by 5 great grandchildren including, Griffin Cook, Morgan Cook, Susan King, Kaden Cook, and Charlie King. He is survived and greatly loved by many nieces and nephews. Relatives and friends are invited to attend Al's Life Celebration and visitation Saturday, April 1st, 10-11 a.m. at Givnish of 1200 Route 130 North. His Funeral Service will follow at 11 a.m. Interment, with Military Honors, will take place at Lakeview Memorial Park on Route 130 North
