Willard C. Dellicker, 64, died Tuesday night at 7:30 in his New Tripoli RD. 1 residence, following an illness of three years. He was the husband of Phoebe A.(Grim) Dellicker.

Born in Kutztown, he was a son of the late Howard G. and Lizzie E.(Christ) Dellicker. A retired Air Force major and World War II veteran, he had been employed by the East Penn Manufacturing Co., Lyons. last working in January. He was a member of Zeigel's Lutheran Church, Breinigsville RD 2. In; addition to his wife, he is survived by two sons: Willard G., New Tripoli RD.1,and Daniel G.,Topton, Two daughters: Lise P.,wife of Joseph Hertzog, Sinking Spring R.D. 5, and Tana L., wife of Glenn Fegely, White hall, and nine grandchildren. The Daniel R Christ Funeral Home, Oley, is in charge of arrangements.

2ND Lt. Willard C. Dellicker, son of Mr. & Mrs. H. G. Dellicker and husband of Phoebe Grim Dellicker, is in Italy, where he pilots a P-38 in the 82nd Fighter Group.

He enlisted November 6, 1942, and trained at Taft and Hemet, Cal., and Luck Field, Phoenix, Arizona, where he received his pilots wings, May 23, 1944. His P-38 training was secured at Portland and Redmond, Oregon.

On March 24th he was twenty tow. He is a 1940 graduate of KHS, and was a Junior in Agriculture at Penn State when he joined up.
