The Life of Bernard Gauthier
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Thursday, January 30, 2014, at 11:30 am in Delhomme Funeral Home Chapel of the Flowers for Bernard Gauthier, 85, who passed away on Sunday, January 26, 2014 at 5:10 am at Magnolia Estates.
Reverend Brian Taylor, Pastor of St. Genevieve Catholic Church, will be Celebrant of the Mass and will conduct the funeral services.
Burial will take place in Lafayette Memorial Park Cemetery.
Bernard, a resident of Lafayette, LA was the son of the late Felix Gauthier and the former Rita Bernard.
He is survived by his loving wife of fifty six years Etta Pearl Gauthier; his daughter Gay Helen Gauthier; his son, Lyle Gauthier; his sister, Jeanette G. Domingue; his two grandchildren; and his one great grandchild.
He was preceded in death by Felix Joseph Gauthier and Rita Gauthier.
The family requests that visiting hours be observed at Delhomme Funeral Home Bertrand Drive on Wednesday, January 29, 2014 from 5:00 pm until 8:00 pm. A Rosary will be recited at 6:30 pm on Wednesday evening in the funeral home. Visiting hours will continue Thursday, January 30, 2012 from 9:00 am until the time of service.
Pallbearers will be Lyle Gauthier, Carol James Gauthier, Robert Gauthier, Kirk Domingue, Lester Gauthier, Jr., and Jack Domingue.
Delhomme Funeral Home, 1011 Bertrand Drive, Lafayette, LA is in charge of funeral arrangements.
