The Life of Dotsy LeBlanc
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 2:00 pm on Friday January 31, 2014 in the Delhomme Funeral Home Chapel of the Flowers for Dotsy Landry LeBlanc, 80, who passed away on Monday January 27, 2014 at 11:00 am at Lafayette General Medical Center.
Reverend Brian Taylor, Pastor of St. Genevieve Catholic Church, will be Celebrant of the Mass and will conduct the funeral services.
Burial will take place in Lafayette Memorial Park Cemetery.
Dotsy, a resident of Lafayette, LA was the daughter of the late Pierre Nole Landry and the former Anita Broussard.
Dotsy was a loving wife, mother, sister, grandmother, great grandmother and friend, enjoyed playing bingo, going to the casino and was a great cook.
She is survived by her daughters, Cindy L. Broussard and husband Earl, Danette L. Latiolais and husband Patrick, Patty R. LeBlanc, and son Rodney P. LeBlanc, and wife Jan, six grandchildren, Tosha & Matthew Latiolais, Brandy & Bryant Broussard, Brett & Derek LeBlanc, six great grandchildren, Kaley Patty, Hunter Broussard, Victoria Waltz, David Latiolais, Addyson Latiolais and Coltin LeBlanc, her sister in law Ella Mae Alleman.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her loving husband of forty four years Russell P. LeBlanc, her sister, Norma Broussard.
The family requests that visiting hours be observed at Delhomme Funeral Home - Bertrand Drive on Thursday January 30, 2014 from 10:00 am to 9:00 pm. A Rosary will be recited at 7:00 pm on Thursday evening in the funeral home. Visiting hours will continue Friday January 31, 2014 from 8:00 am until the time of service.
Pallbearers will be Eddie Broussard, Brandy Broussard, Matthew Latiolais, Bryant Broussard, Brett LeBlanc and Derek LeBlanc. Honorary Pallbearers will be Rodney P. LeBlanc, Hunter Broussard, David Latiolais, Coltin LeBlanc, Earl Broussard, Francis Broussard and Patrick Latiolais.
