The Life of Jewell M Carter
Funeral Services will be held at Delhomme Funeral Home Broussard, LA on Thursday, January 30, 2014 at 2:00 pm for Jewell M Carter, 61, who passed away on Saturday, January 25, 2014 at 3:33 pm at Our Lady of Lourdes Regional Medical Center.
Reverend Weldon Moak, Pastor of First Baptist Church in Broussard, LA will conduct the funeral services.
Burial will take place in Lafayette Memorial Park Cemetery
Jewell, a resident of Youngsville, LA was the daughter of the late Joe Deville and the former Mildred Watkins. She was employed with Acme Trucking Company for many years.
She is survived by her sisters, Aline D. Duck and husband John, Betty D. Franks and husband George, and Glenda D. Broussard; her brother, Ronnie Deville; many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Michael A Carter, and two brothers, Earl and Vernie Deville.
The family requests that visiting hours be observed at Delhomme Funeral Home111 N. Washington Street, Broussard, LA on Thursday, January 30, 2014 from 10:00 am until time of service.
In lieu of flowers the family requests that donations be made in Jewell’s name to the Carter family.
