The Life of Lawrence Rudolph Baillio

Funeral Services will be held at a 1:00 pm Mass of Christian Burial on Wednesday, January 15, 2014 at Sts. Peter and Paul Catholic Church in Scott for Lawrence Rudolph Baillio, 83, who passed away on January 12, 2014 with his family by his side.

Reverend Gilbert Dutel, Pastor of St. Edmond Church, will be Celebrant of the Mass and will conduct the funeral services.

Burial will take place in Lafayette Memorial Park.

Mr. Lawrence, a resident of Scott, was the son of the late John Baillio Sr. and the former Jane Juneau.

He is survived by his daughter, Deanna Suire and husband Jude; his granddaughter, Ashley Page and husband Andrew; his great-grandson, Kason Page; and his brothers, Arthur A. Baillio and Bobby G. Baillio.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Nyla Baillio; his parents; his brother, John "Boone" Baillio, Jr.; and his sister, Mary Hull.

The family requests that visiting hours be observed at Delhomme Funeral Home of Scott on Tuesday, January 14, 2014 from 2:00 pm to 9:00 pm. A Rosary will be recited at 7:00 pm on Tuesday evening in the funeral home. Visiting hours will continue on Wednesday, January 15, 2014 from 8:00 am until the time of service.

Pallbearers will be Jude Suire, Andrew Page, Larry Baillio, Junior Dawson, Frank Close and Dale Page.
