The Life of Ronald W Credeur

Funeral services will be held on Thursday, January 9, 2014 at a 10:00 AM Catholic Service in Martin & Castille''s La Fleur de Lis Chapel in Lafayette, for Ronald W. Credeur, age 56, who died at 7:00 AM on Monday, January 6, 2014 at Dauterive Hospital in New Iberia, Louisiana.

Interment will be in Lafayette Memorial Park Cemetery.

Reverend Keith Landry, Pastor of St. Anne Catholic Church in Cow Island, Louisiana, will conduct the funeral services. Guitarist will be Gene Picard. Musical Selections for the service will be "Amazing Grace", "Be Not Afraid", "Take All Of Me" and "I Am Going Home".

Survivors include his mother, Ruby Guidry Credeur; one sister, Barbara Myers and her husband, Cliff Myers; three nephews, Brandon J. Credeur, Trey Myers and Austin Credeur; and two great nephews, Grayson Credeur and Kaden Myers; his wife, Lisa Robicheaux Credeur; two step daughters, Tara Williamson and her husband, Chris and Candace Dooley and her husband Dean; one stepson, Blake Comeaux and his wife, Hannah; three step grandchildren, Dylan Maturin, Darron Dooley and Chloe Williamson.

He was preceded in death by his father, Nolton J. Credeur; and one sister, Catherine M. Credeur.

Mr. Credeur was born on September 27, 1957 and was a lifelong resident of Lafayette, Louisiana. Prior to his disability, Mr. Credeur was employed with T&P Well Testers for fifteen years. He was an avid outdoorsman, who loved crabbing and fishing. Mr. Credeur loved his K-9 dog named, Cain.

The family requests that visitation be observed in Martin & Castille''s SOUTHSIDE location on Wednesday from 4:00 PM to 9:00 PM and on Thursday from 8:00 AM until time of service.

A Rosary will be prayed on Wednesday at 7:00 PM in Martin & Castille Funeral Home by Brady LeBlanc.
