The Life of Dustin E Taylor

Funeral services will be held on Thursday, December 5, 2013 at a 1:00 PM Service at Martin & Castille''s La Fleur de Lis Chapel in Lafayette, for Dustin E. Taylor, age 32, who died from injuries sustained from an automobile accident in Broussard, Louisiana. Interment will be in Lafayette Memorial Park Cemetery. Reverend Jacob Aranza, Pastor of Our Savior''s Church in Lafayette, will conduct the funeral services, assisted by Pastor Rob Longmire. Survivors include his mother, Cindy G. Michel and her husband, Donald H. Michel; his father, Keith E. Taylor; his maternal grandmother, Beryl Gaudet; two sisters, Constance Taylor and Tara Michel Morrison; three brothers, Myles Taylor, Matthew Taylor and Jacob Michel; aunts and uncles, Terry Gaudet, Gary Gaudet, Tammy G. Ramsey, Nancy G. Nelson, Patrick Gaudet, Mike Taylor, and Linda Taylor Cruz. He was preceded in death by his maternal grandfather, Garrett Gaudet; and his paternal grandparents, Rupert E. Taylor and Doris Shannon. Dustin was born on December 2, 1981 in Morgan City, Louisiana and was a resident of Lafayette for 28 years. He was employed in the oil industry by SEATRAX. Dustin was involved with football and wrestling for Comeaux High School. He was an avid Saints fan and loved spending time with his friends and family. Dustin loved hunting, fishing and good movies. Pallbearers will be Matthew Taylor, Myles Taylor, Cole Gibbons, Jake Michel, Shawn Blanchard and Jared Ruffin. Honorary Pallbearers will be Dustin Comeaux, Tony Rabalais, Mark Ramsey and Jonathon Clevenger. The family requests that visitation be observed in Martin & Castille''s SOUTHSIDE location on Thursday from 9:00 AM until time of service. Martin & Castille-SOUTHSIDE-600 E.
