The Life of Doris Foster
Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 am on Monday, October 28, 2013 in the Delhomme Chapel of the Flowers for Doris Foster, 94, who passed away on October 25, 2013 at 12:02 am at her granddaughters residence.
Reverend Mark Broussard, Heart of Hospice Chaplain, will conduct the funeral services.
Burial will take place in Lafayette Memorial Park.
Mrs. Foster, a resident of Lafayette, was the daughter of the late Frank Davidson and the former Lois Robertson.
She is survived by one daughter, Patricia F. Verret and companion Donald R. Simon, Jr. of Lafayette; two grandchildren, Lyndsay V. Hargis and husband Brandon L. Hargis of Scott, LA and Jordan D. Verret of Lafayette, LA; three great grandchildren, Alexis Bernard, Michael Hargis and Charlotte Verret; and numerous nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death her parents; her husband of 67 years, Francis J. Foster; one son in law, Francis C. Verret; one sister, Ruby Daniels; and three brothers, Tump Davidson, Glen Davidson and Red Davidson.
The family requests that visiting hours be observed at Delhomme Funeral Home of Lafayette on Sunday, October 27, 2013 from 10:00 am to 8:00 pm. Visiting hours will continue on Monday from 9:00 am until the time of service.
The family would like to thank Paradise Adult Daycare, Sharecare USA, Heart of Hospice and especially Elke Clemons, and Latoya Parker, for their kind and loving care during Maw''s time of need.
