The Life of Anna Belle Marie Comeaux

Funeral Services will be held at Delhomme Funeral Home Chapel of the Flowers at 1:00 pm Saturday, October 19, 2013 for Anna Belle Comeaux, 81, who passed away on Wednesday, October 16, 2013 at 10:30 am at her residence. Reverend Brian Taylor, Pastor of St. Genevieve Catholic Church will conduct the funeral services. Burial will take place in Lafayette Memorial Park Cemetery. Anna Belle, a resident of Lafayette, was the daughter of the late Maurice Comeaux and the former Euphrasie Smith. Anna Belle was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother, great great grandmother, and sister. She loved to grow flowers, cook, and bake for her family. She is survived by her sons Carroll J. Comeaux and his wife Patricia, Charles Comeaux and wife Emily, Allen J. Comeaux and wife Hazel; her daughters, Debra C. Barras and her husband Eldon, and Diane C. Touchet; her sons, David J. Comeaux and wife Mona and Michael J. Comeaux; her twenty grandchildren, thirty three great grandchildren and one great great granddaughter; her sisters, Ida C. Black and Dorothy C. Wilson; and her brother, Haywood Comeaux. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband J. C. Comeaux, her sister Laura Jane Gresham, and her brother Maurice Comeaux, Jr. and one grandson Seth J. Comeaux. The family requests that visiting hours be observed at Delhomme Funeral Home on Bertrand Drive, on Friday, October 18, 2013 from 11:00 am until time of service Saturday, October 19, 2012. The funeral home will remain open all night. A Rosary will be prayed at 7:00 pm on Friday, October 18, 2013. Delhomme Funeral Home, 1011 Bertrand Drive, Lafayette, LA is in charge of funeral arrangements.
