The Life of Timothy James Guidry Sr.
Funeral services will be conducted for Timothy James "Timmy" Guidry, Sr., age 42, on Friday, October 18, 2013, at 10:00 AM in the David Funeral Home Chapel with Father Louis Richard officiating. Entombment will follow at Lafayette Memorial Park.
Visitation will be on Thursday, October 17, 2013, from 10:00 AM until 9:00 PM and resume on Friday, October 18, 2013, at 7:00 AM until the service time. A rosary will be prayed in the funeral home on Thursday at 7:00 PM.
A native of Lafayette Parish and a resident of Lafayette, Mr. Guidry passed away at his home on Friday, October 11, 2013. He was the meat market manager at Charlie T''s Specialty Meats. He love to hunt, fish, cook and spend time with his family especially with his grandson.
He is survived by his children, Carlie Guidry of Lafayette, Jada Guidry, Timothy Guidry, Jr. both of Breaux Bridge and Jace Smith of Rayne; his siblings, Sarah Racca of Broussard, Rose Greer, Jimmy Guidry, James Guidry, Kathy Trahan all of Youngsville, Judy Tapley of Texas and Roy Guidry of Scott; his grandchild, Christian Guidry of Lafayette and his companion, Chastity Comeaux and her daughters, Natalie and Julia Richard all of Scott.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Wilson and Evelyn Alleman Guidry and his sister, Virginia Guidry.
Pallbearers will be Jace Smith, Timothy Guidry, Jr., Blake Guidry, Justin Guidry, Jay Guidry, Nicholas Comeaux, Scott Daigle and Donovan Guidry.
Honorary pallbearers will be Christian and Tyler Guidry.
In lieu of flowers the family is accepting donations to help with funeral expenses.
