The Life of Agnes Boudreaux

Funeral services will be held Tuesday, September 10, 2013 at 11:30 a.m. in Evangeline Memorial Gardens Chapel in Carencro for Agnes L. Boudreaux, age 86, the former Agnes LeBlanc, who passed away Saturday, September 7, 2013 at 4:17 a.m. at her residence in Carencro. Interment will be in Lafayette Memorial Park in Lafayette. Rev. Mark Ledoux, pastor of St. Peter Roman Catholic Church, will officate at the service. Musical selections will be provided by Valerie Andrus. The songs will be How Great Thou Art, I Will Never Forget You, Just A Closer Walk With Thee, and Ave Maria. Mrs. Boudreaux was a native of Cecilia and a resident of the Carencro area for most of her life having lived in Lafayette for fifteen years. She was a parishioner of St. Peter Roman Catholic Church. Survivors include two sons, John R. Boudreaux and Byron J. Boudreaux and his wife, Darcie, all of Carencro. She was preceded in death by her husband, Francis John Boudreaux; her parents, Clebert LeBlanc and the former Feliciane Begnaud; two brothers, Clarence LeBlanc and Ray LeBlanc; and one sister, Lucille L. Domingue. A rosary will be prayed at 1:00 p.m. Monday in the funeral home. The family requests that visiting hours be observed from 10:00 a.m. until 4:00 p.m. Monday and will continue from 8:00 a.m. until service time on Tuesday.
