Catherine graduated from Cathedral Carmel High School of Lafayette in 1982 as co-salutatorian of the last graduating class of CCHS. Upon her return to Louisiana, Catherine worked for three Louisiana Supreme Court Justices, the Honorable Walter F. Marcus, Jr., the Honorable Luther Cole and the Honorable Revius Ortique, Jr., a position Catherine was justly proud of, as Justice Ortique was Louisiana’s first African-American Justice.
