The Life of Rose M Jolley
Funeral Services will be held at 2:30 pm on Wednesday, April 24, 2013 Delhomme Funeral Home in Maurice, LA for Rose M. Broussard Jolley, 76, who passed away on April 21, 2013 at 6:47 am at her residence.
Reverend O. Joseph Breaux, Pastor of St. Alphonsus Catholic Church, will conduct the funeral services.
Burial will take place in Lafayette Memorial Park.
Mrs. Jolley, a resident of Lafayette, LA, was the daughter of the late Orlane Broussard and the former Lovenia Minnie Thibodeaux.
Rose worked many years as a Licensed Practical Nurse at Lafayette General Regional Medical Center in the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit. She was an accomplished artist for a number of years, and loved to read and work on expert cross word puzzles. Rose was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother and sister that will be sadly missed by all.
She is survived by her husband, F. Lee Jolley; her daughter, Valree Prather and her husband Bob; her son, Brian Faulk and his wife Margaret; her grandchildren, Jodi Stovall, Bryant Faulk, Brad Faulk, and Nick Faulk as well as her great grandchildren, Eric Stovall, Kayla Faulk, Grant Faulk and Jace Faulk.
She was preceded in death by her three sisters, Lucy Bishop, Winona Myers and Lou Jane Bishop, and one brother, Donald L. "Don" Broussard.
The family requests that visiting hours be observed at Delhomme Funeral Home of Maurice on Tuesday, April 23, 2013 from 4:00 pm until 9:00 pm. Visiting hours will continue on Wednesday, April 24, 2013 from 10:00 am until the time of service.
