The Life of Ada Mae Hebert
Funeral services will be held on Monday, March 18, 2013 at a 10:00 AM Mass of Christian Burial in Martin & Castille''s La Fleur de Lis Chapel in Lafayette for Ada Mae Monteleon Hebert, age 86, who died on Thursday, March 14, 2013 at her residence in Lafayette.
Interment will be in Holy Mary, Mother of God Cemetery.
Reverend Chester Arceneaux, Rector of the Cathedral of St. John the Evangelist, will be the Celebrant of the Funeral Mass and will conduct the funeral services. Lectors will be Nicole Hebert, Tiffany Hebert, Morgan Hebert and Winnie Duhe. Giftbearers will be Victoria Rabalais, Adrienne Hebert and Jacqueline Hebert.
Survivors include her two daughters, Yvonne Latiolais and her husband, Ron Latiolais of Lafayette and Nanette Rabalais of Lafayette; two sons, Terry P. Hebert of Lafayette and Barry J. Hebert and his wife, Tiffany of Baton Rouge; eight grandchildren, Christopher Rabalais and his wife, Megan, Matthew Rabalais and his wife, Kellie and Victoria Rabalais, Nicole, Jacqueline and Adrienne Hebert and Morgan and Evan Hebert; six great grandchildren, Jaze, Elizabeth, Madison, Charlie, Katherine and Reeves.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Hubert P. Hebert; her parents, Ada Webb and John Monteleon of Lafayette; one sister, Elaine Gerac and four brothers, Lionel, Stanley, John and James Monteleon; one great grandchild, Sailor Rabalais and her son-in-law, Ronald Rabalais.
Mrs. Hebert was born on September 30, 1926 in Lafayette, Louisiana and was a resident of Lafayette all of her life.
Pallbearers will be Matthew Rabalais, Chris Rabalais, Ron Latiolais, Harold Gerac, Sonny Monteleone and Evan Hebert.
The family requests that visitation be observed in Martin & Castille''s SOUTHSIDE location on Sunday from 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM and on Monday from 8:00 AM until time of service.
A Rosary will be prayed Sunday at 7:00 PM in Martin & Castille Funeral Home.
