The Life of Teresa Dee Potter
Funeral Services for Mrs. William Mark Potter the former Teresa Dee Mullens, 51, will be held at 11:00AM on Thursday, March 7, 2013 at David Funeral Home of Lafayette, with Rev. Mark Gaudin officiating. Visitation will be David Funeral Home of Lafayette on Thursday, March 7, 2013 from 10:00AM until the time of the services. Interment will follow at Lafayette Memorial Park Cemetery.
A native of Sweet Water, TX and a resident of Youngsville Mrs. Potter died on Sunday, March 3, 2013 at her residence. She was a NJROTC mom for 18 years at Comeaux High School. Teresa was known as a beloved mother and Maw maw who is now with her loving husband.
She is survived by a son, Joshua Clay Potter of Dana Point, CA; four daughters, Amanda LaFleur of Youngsville, Angela Ruede of Fort Lee, VA, Amy Potter of Lafayette, and Ashley Cortez of New Iberia; her mother, Doris Little Mullens of Dallas, TX; a sister, Diana Domingue; three brothers, Dwayne Mullens, Jr., Daryle Mullens, and Dean Mullens; and six grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, William Mark Potter; her father, Leland Dwayne Mullens, Sr.; and a son, Jonathan Potter.
Serving as pallbearers will be Josh Potter, Willie LaFleur, Matthew Cortez, Dean Mullens, Delbert Ruede, and Dwayne Mullens, Jr.
David Funeral Home of Lafayette at 316 Youngsville Hwy (337)837-9887 will be handling the arrangements.
