The Life of Sadie Louise - Peek Roberts
Funeral services will be held on Monday, March 4, 2013 at a 1:00 PM Catholic Mass in La Chapelle de Martin & Castille for Sadie Roberts, 86, who died on Friday, March 1, 2013 at Cornerstone Village South Nursing Home.
Interment will be in Lafayette Memorial Park.
Reverend Michael Keith Landry, Pastor of St. Anne Catholic Church in Cow Island, Louisiana will be the Celebrant of the Funeral Mass and will conduct the funeral services. Giftbearers will be Juliah Dalfrey, Alex Marsiglia, and Maci Mouton. Karen Broussard, organist and soloist, will sing "On Eagles Wing''s," "Our Father," "Be Not Afraid," and "Ave Maria" for the services.
Survivors include one daughter, Julie Roy and her husband Joseph Roy; two grandchildren, James P. Mouton and Jason A. Mouton and his wife Krystal; one great grandchild, Maci Claire Mouton; two step-great grandchildren, Juliah Dalfrey and Alex Marsiglia; and numerous nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents Fernand Mouton and Sadie Louise Mouton; her beloved husbands, James E. Roberts and James M. Peek; four brothers, Welton Mouton, Maurice Mouton, James Gilman Mouton, and Louis Mouton; one sister, Eloise Mouton; and one grandson, Jeremy J. Roy.
A resident of Lafayette, Louisiana for all of her life, Sadie M. Roberts loved antiques and was an antique seller in her spare time. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother, sister, and friend to all who knew her and she will be dearly missed.
The family requests that visitation be observed in Martin & Castille''s DOWNTOWN location on Monday, March 4, 2013 from 9:00 AM until time of service.
The family would like to give a special thanks to Lisa and Beulah for all of their compassion and care given to the family at such a difficult time.
Memorial contributions can be made in Hospice of Acadiana in Sadie Roberts'' name.
