The Life of Ronald James Breaux
Funeral services will be held on Thursday, November 15, 2012 at a 1:00 PM Mass of Christian Burial in Sacred Heart of Jesus Catholic Church in Broussard for Ronald James Breaux, 58, who died on Saturday, November 10, 2012 at his residence in Lafayette.
Interment will be in Lafayette Memorial Park Cemetery.
Reverend Louis Richard, Pastor of Sacred Heart of Jesus Catholic Church, will be the Celebrant of the funeral Mass and will conduct the funeral services. Lectors will be Malcolm Bordelon and Kimberly Breaux. Giftbearers will be Jody Cart, Jody Breaux and William Krieg. Jodi Bollich, organist and soloist, will sing for the services, "Ave Maria," "Be Not Afraid," "Amazing Grace," and "The Lord''s Prayer". Jayden Menard (granddaughter) will give the eulogy.
He leaves to cherish his memory, his beloved wife, Debbie Cart Breaux; one daughter, Nicole Breaux; one son, Scott Breaux and his wife, Kimberly; his father, Laurence Breaux; one brother, Michael Breaux and his wife, René; one half-sister, Debra Navarre; and five grandchildren, William Krieg, Jayden Menard, Ian Menard, Hunter Breaux and Lexi Breaux.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Anita Breaux.
Ronald James Breaux was born on January 13, 1954 in Lafayette, Louisiana. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather, son, brother and friend to all who knew him. Ronald worked as an inspector for Tri-Drill (now Knight Oil Tools) for many years. He loved camping and watching football, often cheering on the New Orleans Saints and LSU Tigers. Ronald enjoyed spending time with family and friends and will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved him.
Pallbearers will be David Broussard, Gary "Chicken" LeJeune, Jimmy Credeur, D.J. Rogers, Jody Breaux and Randy Cart. Honorary pallbearers will be Josh Cart, Scott Breaux, Michael Breaux and Ricky Guidry.
A Rosary will be recited by Brady LeBlanc on Wednesday, November 14, 2012 at 6:30 PM in Martin & Castille''s SOUTHSIDE location.
The family requests that visitation be observed on Wednesday from 10:00 AM to 10:00 PM and will continue on Thursday from 8:00 AM until time of services.
