The Life of Karen Sue McKinley

Youngsville – Funeral Services for Mrs. Allen J. McKinley, the former Karen Macedone, 61, will be held at 11:00AM on Friday, November 2, 2012 at David Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Barbara Landry and Pastor Larry Taylor officiating. Visitation will be held at David Funeral Home of Lafayette on Thursday, November 1, 2012 from 4:00PM until 8:00PM. Visitation will resume on Friday, November 2, 2012 from 8:00AM until service time. Interment will follow at Lafayette Memorial Park Cemetery. A native of Watertown, New York and resident of Youngsville, Mrs. McKinley went to be with the Lord Jesus at 5:50AM on Saturday, October 27, 2012 at her residence. She enjoyed singing in the church and working with children. She loved the Lord and her family very very much. She is survived by her husband, Allen J. McKinley; two sons, Jeff McKinley and his wife Erin of Lafayette, and Steven McKinley and his wife Nikole of Havelock, North Carolina; two daughters, Bridgette McKinley Comeaux and her husband Ryan of Youngsville and Kelly McKinley Forbes and her husband Corey of Youngsville; fourteen grandchildren, Kaileigh McKinney, Shelbi Forbes, Karlie Forbes, Luke Mullins, Brenden McKinley, Kailynne McKinley, Andrew McKinley, Michah McKinley, Isaiah McKinley, Liz McKinley, Timmy McKinley, Hope McKinley, Jayden Comeaux and Jolie Comeaux. She is also survived by her second family from Louisiana whom she has come to love and admire. She was preceded in death by her parents Alexander and Shirley Sweet Macedone. Serving as pallbearers will be Jeff McKinley, Steven McKinley, Ryan Comeaux, Corey Forbes, Kermit Forbes, and Robert Landry. David Funeral Home of Lafayette at 316 Youngsville Highway, (337) 837-9887, is in charge of the arrangements.
