The Life of Dean Paul Bonin

Funeral Services will be held at a 3:00 pm Mass of Christian Burial on Monday, October 22, 2012 in the Delhomme Chapel of the Flowers for Dean Paul Bonin, 57, who passed away on October 19, 2012 at 12:40 pm in Monroe, Louisiana. Reverend Tom Voorhies, Pastor of Sts. Peter & Paul Church, will be Celebrant of the Mass and will conduct the funeral services. Burial will take place in Lafayette Memorial Park Cemetery. Mr. Bonin, a resident of Monroe, LA, was the son of the late Victor Joseph Bonin of Jeanerette, Louisiana and the former Gloria Dugas of Port Arthur, Texas. He was a native of New Iberia and a long-time resident of Lafayette. He graduated from Lafayette High School in 1973 and attended Liberty Bible College in Pensacola, Florida. He is survived by His brother; Todd J. Bonin of Monroe, LA; sister Roxie Bonin Ducharme and husband, Thomas of Panama City Beach, Florida; nephews Thomas Ducharme, Jr. of Panama City Beach, Florida; Mark Ducharme and Tommy Pitre of Plaquemines; nieces, Rebekah Ducharme Rich and husband Jonathan of Baton Rouge, and Tiffany Ducharme of Panama City Beach, Florida. He is also survived by special friends Leola Smith, Ruby Brown, Keith McFarland and Tina McNeil. He was preceded in death by his parents. The family requests that visiting hours be observed at Delhomme Funeral Home of Lafayette on Sunday, October 21, 2012 from 5:00 pm until 8:00 pm and continue on Monday from 1:00 PM until time of service. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made in memory of Dean P. Bonin to: MedCamps of Louisiana, 102 Thomas Road, Suite 615, West Monroe, LA 71291 Delhomme Funeral Home, 1011 Bertrand Drive, Lafayette, is in charge of funeral arrangements.
