The Life of David Brent Doshier
Memorial Services will be held Tuesday, October 16, 2012 at a 2:00 PM Service in Martin & Castille's La Fleur de Lis Chapel for David Brent Doshier, 53, who died on Saturday, October 13, 2012 at Our Lady of Lourdes Hospital.
Inurnment will be in Lafayette Memorial Park Cemetery.
Reverend Louis Allen Breaux, Associate Pastor of St. Benedict the Moor Catholic Church in Duson, will conduct the memorial services.
Survivors include his loving wife, Tracy H. Morvant Doshier of Lafayette; five daughters, Amber Gardner and her husband, Robert of North Las Vegas, Nevada, Rebecca Studer and her husband, Derrek of Elizabethtown, Kentucky, Ariel Morvant of Lafayette, Angelle Morvant of Lafayette, and Arlyn Boyer of Lafayette; one son, Atley Morvant and his wife, Leticia of Fort Eustis, Virginia; one sister, Judy Hassell and her husband, Earl of Blue Water, New Mexico; one brother, Ronald Doshier and his wife Sharon of Pruwitt, New Mexico; six grandchildren, Nicole Gardner, Jessica Gardner, Fabian Pena, Gabriella Jackson, Ziva Morvant, and Gideon Studer; one great grandson, Kaleb Gardner; and numerous nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Lucille V. Smith Doshier; father, Chester N. Doshier; two sisters, Virginia Kay Doshier and Janis Doshier; and his best friend, Clint Christian.
A resident of Lafayette, Louisiana for the last twenty years. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather, great grandfather, brother and friend to all who knew him. He loved to ride his Harley Davidson every chance he got and then finish his ride with a Corona.
The family requests that visitation be observed in Martin & Castille's SOUTHSIDE location on Tuesday from 10:00 AM until time of service.
