The Life of Kathy l Louvierre
Funeral services will be held at 10:00 am on Thursday, October 4, 2012 in the Delhomme Chapel of the Flowers for Kathy Ann Louvierre, 56, who passed away on October 1, 2012 at 3:05 pm at her residence.
Deacon Cody Miller will conduct the funeral services.
Burial will take place in Lafayette Memorial Park Cemetery.
Mrs. Louvierre, a resident of Breaux Bridge, LA, was the daughter of the late Leon Joseph Ardoin and the former Olive Marcental both of Basile, Louisiana. Kathy was a loving wife, mother and grandmother. She had a love for traveling and for cats. Everyone that she met admired her sweet, kind and loving spirit. She fought an admirable and heroic battle against breast cancer.
She is survived by her husband, Michael W. Louvierre; two daughters, Sherry L. Duhon and husband Anthony, Amy L. Melancon and husband Eric; her grandchildren, Daxx, Korbin, Kaylix, Cooper, Daynon, Raven, and Mason; four step children; six step grandchildren; her two brothers, Verlin Ardoin and wife Janice, and Kenneth Ardoin and his wife Cicy.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
The family requests that visiting hours be observed at Delhomme Funeral Home of Lafayette on Wednesday, October 3, 2012 from 10:00 am until 9:00 pm. Visitation will continue on Thursday from 8:00 am until time of service.
The family would like to thank the Cancer Center of Acadiana and her special niece, Lori Leger.
Pallbearers will be Verlin and Kenneth Ardoin, Eric Melancon, Anthony Duhon, Sandy and Kris Louvierre.
