The Life of Richard Anthony Bell

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Wednesday, May 23, 2012, at 10:00 AM in La Chapelle de Martin & Castille in Lafayette, for Richard Anthony Bell, age 58, who died on Monday, May 21, 2012 at MD Anderson Cancer Center in Houston, Texas, after a brief battle with cancer. Reverend F. Hampton Davis, III, Pastor of Our Lady Queen of Peace Catholic Church in Lafayette, will be the Celebrant of the Funeral Mass and will conduct the funeral services. Interment will be in Lafayette Memorial Park Cemetery. Richard was a native of Lafayette and a resident of Cypress, Texas for the last fifteen years. He was a 1972 graduate of Cathedral-Carmel High School in Lafayette. He is survived by his mother, Sylvia Bell; his sisters, Mary Katherine Bell and her husband Stephen Cramer of Cypress, Texas and Mary Lou Jumonville of Lafayette; his nieces, Lisa Catalanatto and her husband Paul of Baton Rouge and Jennifer McCarthy and her husband John of Houston, Texas. He was preceded in death by his father, George O. Bell. The family requests that visitation be observed in Martin & Castille's DOWNTOWN Lafayette location on Tuesday, May 22, 2012 from 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM and on Wednesday from 8:00 AM until the time of service.
