The Life of Dolores Mooring
Youngsville- A Mass of Christian Burial for Dolores Richard Mooring, 61, will be held at 11:00AM on Saturday, May 5, 2012 at St. Anne Catholic Church in Youngsville, LA with Rev. Jason Mouton as Celebrant. Visitation will be held at David Funeral Home of Lafayette on Friday, May 4, 2012 from 9:00AM until 10:00PM with a recitation of the Rosary at 7:00PM at the funeral home and will resume at 8:00AM on Saturday, until just prior to service time. Interment will follow the church services at Lafayette Memorial Park Cemetery.
A long time resident of Youngsville, LA Mrs. Mooring passed away on Tuesday, May 1, 2012 at University Medical Center in Lafayette, LA.
She is survived by her loving husband of 41 years Frank Mooring of Youngsville, LA; daughter, Lisa Richard and her husband Sam of Lafayette, LA; sons, Wade Mooring and his wife, April of Lafayette, LA and Jared Mooring of Youngsville, LA; six grandchildren, Tyler Richard and his girlfriend, Meagan Paris of Abbeville, LA, Blake Richard, Halie Richard, Layne Mooring, Alyssa Mooring, Ashlyn Mooring all of Lafayette, LA ; great-granddaughter, Ava Claire Paris-Richard of Abbeville, LA; sister, Joann Morvant and her husband, Jeffery of Lafayette, LA ; two brothers, Jimmy Richard of Youngsville, LA and Bradley Richard of Lafayette, LA as well as numerous nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Buford and Bertha Breaux Richard, brother Aldes Richard and two sisters, Margie Melancon and Myrtle Meaux.
Serving as pallbearers will be Sam Richard, Wade Mooring, Jared Mooring, Layne Mooring Blake Richard and Tyler Richard.
Honorary pallbearers will be Jeffery Morvant and Jimmy Richard.
In lieu of flowers the family is requesting donations be made to the immediate family to help defray the funeral expenses.
