The Life of Tracy Durley
Funeral services will be held Monday, April 30, 2012 at 1:00 p.m. in Evangeline Memorial Gardens Chapel in Carencro for Tracy "Redneck" Durley, age 45, who passed away Friday, April 27, 2012 at Lafayette General Medical Center in Lafayette.
Interment will be in Lafayette Memorial Park. The Rev. Gerald Heard, pastor of Temple Baptist Church in Lafayette, will officiate at the services.
Mr. Durley was a native of Tifton, GA and a resident of Carencro. He loved camping, fishing and gardening.
Survivors include his wife, Lesa F. Durley of Carencro; his mother, Liz Anders and her husband, Victor Lee, of Florien, LA; three sons, Ryan Arcement of Carencro, Tristan Durley of Many, LA and Aaron Arcement of Carencro; three daughters, Crystal Durley of Robbinsville, NC, Terin Durley of Many, LA and Ashley Sargee of Carencro; his loyal companion Rottweiler, Roux; two grandchildren, River Durley and Raine Durley-Young; one sister, and June Denise Durley of Florien; and his step-mother, Patricia Durley of Tifton, GA.
He was preceded in death by his father, Horace J. Durley; and one brother, Jeff Durley.
A rosary will be prayed at 6:00 p.m. Sunday in the funeral home.
The family requests that visiting hours be observed from 11:00 a.m. until 10:00 p.m. Sunday and will continue from 8:00 a.m. until service time on Monday.
Pallbearers will be Ryan Arcement, Aaron Arcement, Tristan Durley, Johnny Romero, Donald Romero and Kalem Romero. Honorary pallbearers will be Drew Bourque and C.J. “Pearl” Romero.
