The Life of Julie McGann
Funeral services will be held on Saturday, August 5, 2006 at a 12:00 PM Service in La Chapelle de Martin & Castille for Julie Hough McGann, 33, who passed away peacefully on Wednesday, August 2, 2006 at Our Lady of Lourdes Regional Medical Center in Lafayette.Interment will be in Lafayette Memorial Park Cemetery.Reverend Monsignor Glen John Provost will officiate the services.Survivors include her beloved husband, William M. McGann; one daughter, Macie Melissa McGann; two sons, Joseph Francis McGann and Daniel Hough McGann; her parents, Albert and Sylvia Hough; and one sister, Marjorie Hough Morgan.A native and lifelong resident of Lafayette, Louisiana, Mrs. McGann was a loving wife, mother, daughter, sister and friend to all who knew her. She enjoyed dancing, being a "soccer mom", and kidding around, especially with her daddy. Her favorite past-time was shopping with her mother and was always known to be a bit flirtatious. Her passion in life was her family, especially spending time with her husband and children. Mrs. McGann will be dearly missed not only by family and friends, but by all of those whose lives she has touched throughout the years. Pallbearers will be James Andrepont, Renee Andrepont, Dean Morgan, Thomas Myers, David Cazes, and Expadie Laperouse, Jr.The family requests that visitaion be observed on Friday from 4:00 PM to 9:00 PM and on Saturday from 8:00 AM until time of services.During this time of need, in lieu of flowers donations may be made in Mrs. McGann''s Memory to P.O. Box 41 Youngsville, Louisiana 70592.The family would like to give special thanks to Dr. Joseph Brierre and the entire staff at Louisiana Oncology and Associates, as well as the ICU and staff at Our Lady of Lourdes Regional Medical Center, for all of their kindness and care during Mrs. McGann''s time of need.
