The Life of Doris Kate Hight

With deep sadness, love and hope, we mourn the death of our mother, Doris Kate Schoeps Hight. She died Tuesday, July 26, 2005, at the Baylor Hospital in Dallas.
She lived a life of love and service with gentleness and kindness to her family and friends. “Strength and honor are her clothing. She shall rejoice in time to come, she opens her mouth with wisdom. And on her tongue is the law of kindness. Her children rise up and call her blessed. Many daughters have done well. But you excel them all.” Proverbs 31.

In 1969 they moved to Lafayette, LA. She returned to Ennis in 1979.
