The Life of Florence Theresa Fogg
Funeral Services will be held at a 10:00 am Mass of Christian Burial on Thursday, July 30, 2009 in the Delhomme Chapel of the Flowers for Florence Fogg, 94, who passed away on July 27, 2009 at 8:30 pm at Bethany MHS Healthcare Center.
Reverend Louis Allen Breaux, Associate Pastor of Sts. Peter & Paul Church in Scott, will be Celebrant of the Mass and will conduct the funeral services.
Entombment will take place in Holy Mary Mother of God Cemetery.
Mrs. Fogg, a resident of Lafayette, LA, was the daughter of the late James C. Azcona and the former Mary Healy, both of New Orleans, Louisiana. She was a member of the community of St. John the Evangelist Secular Franciscan Order, formerly called the Third Order of St. Francis.
She is survived by one daughter, Cynthia Roy and her husband, Sidney of Opelousas, LA; one son, Chris Fogg, Sr., and his wife, Claire of Lafayette, LA; nine grandchildren, Kevin Roy, Shannon Roy, Chris Fogg, Jr., Jason Fogg, Sean Fogg, Allison Williams-Fogg, Paula Boutin, Maria Alvey, John Boutin and numerous great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Fred Fogg; her parents; one daughter, Diane Fogg and one brother.
The family requests that visiting hours be observed on Wednesday, July 29, 2009 from 10:00 am to 9:00 pm and will continue on Thursday from 8:00 am until time of service at Delhomme Funeral Home of Lafayette. A rosary will be recited on Wednesday at 6:30 in the evening. A Franciscan Wake service will be held at 7:00 pm.
