The Life of Andre' Raley Holloway

Funeral services will be held on Friday, November 12, 2010, at a 10:00 AM Mass of Christian Burial in La Chapelle de Martin & Castille in Lafayette for André Raley Holloway, 25, who passed away on Tuesday, November 9, 2010 at his residence in Lafayette. Interment will be in Holy Mary Mother of God Cemetery. Reverend Thomas Voorhies, Pastor of Sts. Peter & Paul Catholic Church in Scott, will be the Celebrant of the Funeral Mass and will conduct the funeral services. Giftbearers will be his godparents, Leo and Jeanette Camel. Lectors will be Mary Perret Sibille and Roger Stonecipher. Karen Broussard, organist and soloist, will sing "I Can Only Imagine", "Shepherd Me O God", "I Have Loved You", "Prayer of St. Francis" and "Be Not Afraid" for the services. Survivors include his parents, Mario Holloway and Gina Stonecipher Holloway; his stepmother, Susie Holloway, one sister, Angela Guidry and her husband Michael and their children, Jon, Jed, Jonas and Juliana Guidry, all of Lafayette; paternal grandmother, Joan Holloway of Lafayette; maternal grandmother, Ramona Stonecipher of Lafayette; and numerous aunts, uncles and cousins. He was preceded in death by his paternal grandfather, Jim Holloway and his maternal grandfather, Bill Stonecipher. André was a lifelong resident of Lafayette, graduated from Lafayette High School in 2003 and was a former employee of Teche Drugs. He was a creative artist in nature who enjoyed painting and drawing. He would do anything asked of him by anyone and never held any grudges. Andre'' always had a smile on his face. He will be greatly missed by his family, friends and all who knew and loved him. Pallbearers will be Bennett J. Voorhies, Jr., Parker Perret, John Gilmer, Matt Gilmer, Todd Stonecipher, Michael Guidry, Aaron Stonecipher and Dan Gilmer, David Newberry, Michael Newberry, Ben Massey, Luke Massey and Ashley Rush. The family requests that visitation be observed in Martin & Castille''s DOWNTOWN Lafayette location on Thursday, November 11, 2010 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Friday from 8:00 AM until time of service.
