The Life of Louis Melvin Hebert

Funeral Services will be held Saturday, January 28, 2006 at a 10:00 AM Service in La Chapelle de Martin & Castille for Louis Melvin Hebert, age 79, who died Wednesday, January 25, 2006 at 11:37 PM in Our Lady of Lourdes Regional Medical Center.Interment will be in Lafayette Memorial Park Cemetery.Reverend Robie Robichaux, JCL, Pastor of St. Mary, Mother of the Church Catholic Church will conduct the Funeral Services.Survivors include one daughter, Marcia Lynn Bauerle and her husband, David Bauerle; one son, Mel Hebert and his wife, Madeline; four grandchildren, Craig Pitmon and his wife, Raina, Kayla Bauerle, Matthew Hebert and his wife, Amanda, and David Hebert; three great grandchildren, Katrina Pitmon, Lance Pitmon and Tyler Pitmon and one brother, Lennis Hebert and his wife, Betty. He was preceded in death by his parents, Philibert and Mercedes Boudreaux Hebert; one sister, Alma Jean Hebert LaSalle and one brother, Evan Hebert.Mr. Hebert was a native of Milton and a lifelong resident of Lafayette.  He was a veteran of military service having served in the United States Army during World War II.  Mr. Hebert was a member of the American Legion Post 69.A Rosary will be prayed Friday at 7:00 PM in the Martin & Castille Funeral Home.The family requests that visiting hours be observed Friday from 1:00 PM until 9:00 PM and Saturday from 8:00 AM until time of Services.Pallbearers are Mel Hebert, David Bauerle, Matthew Hebert, David Hebert, Craig Pitmon and Brent Hebert.  Martin & Castille Funeral Home, Inc. of Lafayette has been chosen to help with the arrangements.337-234-2311.
