The Life of Stephanie Ann LaBorde
Funeral Services will be held Thursday, August 31, 2006 at a 10:00 AM Service in La Chapelle de Martin & Castille for Stephanie LaBorde, age 55, who died Monday, August 28, 2006 at her residence in Youngsville.Interment will be in Lafayette Memorial Park Cemetery.Reverend Jacob Aranza, Pastor of Our Saviours Church in Broussard will conduct the Funeral Services. Jodi Bollich, organist, will sing for the funeral services, "On Eagles'' Wings", "Here I Am, Lord", "You Are Near" and "Ave Maria".Survivors include her husband, Stephen Smith of Youngsville; one daughter Angelle Baudin of Lafayette; one son, Gerald A. Baudin II of Abbeville; two stepsons, Austin M. Smith and Andrew T. Smith, both of Lafayette; one grandson, Ashton Dooley of Lafayette; her father, Fenwick LaBorde and her stepmother, Songa LaBorde of Marksville; one sister, Sari Turner of Baton Rouge and one half brother, Glenn Mayeaux and his wife, Angie of Marksville. She was preceded in death by her mother, Betty Joffrion LaBorde and one brother, Fenwick "Buzzy" LaBorde, Jr.A native of Marksville and a longtime resident of Abbeville, Mrs. LaBorde had been residing in Youngsville for the last six years.A Rosary will be prayed Wednesday at 6:30 PM in the Martin & Castille Funeral Home in Lafayette.The family requests that visiting hours be observed Wednesday from 5:00 PM until 9:00 PM and Thursday from 8:00 AM until time of Funeral Services.
