The Life of Carroll LeBlanc

Funeral services will be held on Monday, March 22, 2010 at a 10:00 AM Mass of Christian Burial in La Chapelle de Martin & Castille for Carroll LeBlanc, 72, who passed away peacefully on Thursday, March 18, 2010 at Lafayette General Medical Center.Interment will be in Lafayette Memorial Park Cemetery.Reverend Timothy Richard, Pastor of St. Edmond Catholic Church, will be the Celebrant of the funeral Mass and will conduct the funeral services. Lectors will be Brenda Johnson and Angela Furka. Giftbearers will be Madison Broussard, Cameron Guidry and Camille Guidry. Valerie Andrus, organist and soloist, will sing for the services, "J''irai la voir un jour", "How Great Thou Art", "Be Not Afraid" and "Prayer of St. Francis".Survivors include his loving wife of 49 years, Johnnie Mae  Perry LeBlanc; three daughters, Wendy Melville and her husband, Harold of Houma, Kimberly Musson and her husband, Larry of Daphne, Alabama, and Denise Guidry and her husband, Meryle, Jr. of Lafayette; two sons, Timothy LeBlanc and wife Linda of Scott and Gregory LeBlanc and wife, Michelle of Flower Mound, Texas; 12 grandchildren, Erica Broussard, Brandon Melville and wife, Cypress, Kyle Melville, April McBride and husband, David, Cody LeBlanc and wife, Amber, Andrew Musson, Aimee’ Musson, Megan LeBlanc, Emily LeBlanc, Megan Guidry, Cameron Guidry, and Camille Guidry; 5 great grandchildren, Madison Broussard, Lucas Broussard, Carlie Clark, Hayden LeBlanc, and Gavin McBride; two sisters, Mildred Stutes and Jane Mehlschau and her husband, Jim; one brother, Earl LeBlanc and his wife, Belle; one sister-in-law, Lois LeBlanc; and his two beloved pets, Copper and Molly.He was preceded in death by his parents Raoul and Cecilia Broussard LeBlanc; one brother, Donald Paul LeBlanc; and one nephew Ronald James LeBlanc.Carroll was a longtime resident of Lafayette and served in the U.S. Army National Guard.  He was a past parishioner of Our Lady Fatima Catholic serving as a Eucharistic Minister.  He was currently a member of St. Edmond’s Catholic Church.He was the owner of Carroll Building Specialties since 1968.  Carroll’s generous heart, love of family, camping, and gardening will be greatly missed by all. Pallbearers will be Brandon Melville, Cody LeBlanc, Andrew Musson, Jimmy LeBlanc, Skip Perry, and David LeBlanc.A Rosary will be prayed on Sunday, March 21, 2010 at 6:00 PM in Martin & Castille Funeral Home''s Downtown Location.The family requests that visitation be observed on Sunday from 12:00 PM to 8:00 PM and will continue on Monday from 8:00 AM until time of services.Donations can be made to American Cancer Society, 1604 W.
