Mrs. Wilson was born in Iota, Louisiana on September 14, 1915 to the late Michel Muller and the former O'' Delia Zinter. After graduating from Iota High School, she completed a secretarial course at the trade school in Crowley, LA. After several secretarial jobs, she went to work for Humble Oil and Refining Company (later ExxonMobil). She met her husband while both worked for Humble Oil in New Iberia, Louisiana. They were married on February 16, 1948 and she became a loving wife and mother. An accomplished embroiderer and word puzzle solver, she was also an active member of Trinity Lutheran Church, serving several years as Church Secretary. Later, when her husband retired from Humble Oil Company and formed Drilling Workover Consultants, Inc., she worked alongside him as his secretary and bookkeeper. Thereafter, she and her husband enjoyed retirement and driving to and from Las Vegas, completing the 1600 mile one-way trip in only two days! A loving mother, who had always wanted a houseful of children, she cherished the two with whom she was blessed. Whether playing on a blanket in the backyard, serving as room mother, teaching them to drive or appreciating their musical talents, in every way she enjoyed every moment. She was the best of grandmothers, always having time to color with her grandchildren, help them to catch crickets, and to listen to their stories. She took an active interest in each one''s life and will be sorely missed by them all. Mrs. Wilson was the youngest of nine children and, having survived all of her siblings and their spouses as well as her husband''s siblings and spouses, was the last of her generation in the Muller and Wilson families.

She is survived by one daughter, Anna Katharine Wilson Schendel and husband, Larry; and son, Homer Julian Wilson, Jr.; grandchildren: Kerensa Schendel Robinson and husband, Henry; David Wilson Schendel and wife, April; Calley Wilson-Johnson and husband, Keith ; great-grandchildren: Bethany Robinson, Wilson Prejean, Levi Robinson and David Robinson; a step-daughter, Margie Dossy and her beloved nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Homer J. Wilson, Sr.; parents, Michel and O''Delia Zinter Muller; brothers and Sisters: Michel K. Muller; Frederick ''Fritz'' Muller, Sr.; O''Delia E. Muller; Sophie Darphin; Wilhelm "Bill" Muller; Marie ''Mary'' Garber; Lina M. Jamison; Jacob Muller and several beloved nieces and nephews.
