The Life of Edith Clements
LAFAYETTE - A memorial service Mass for Edith Keel Clements, 89 will be at St. Martha Catholic Church, 3702 Woodland Hills Dr, Kingwood, TX on Thursday, April 14, 11:00 am. A graveside interment will be held at Holy Mary of Mother of God (St. John-Fatima) Cemetery on Johnston Street in Lafayette, on Friday April 15, 2011 at 1:00pm. Family and friends are invited to participate at the graveside service.
Survivors include her children, Joseph B. Clements, III and wife Donna Nugent Clements; Ronald Frank Clements and wife Kim Woods Clements; Robert T. Clements and wife Susie Stout Clements; sister, Doris Keel Gamble; 8 grandchildren, Bryan Boney, Juli Hodi, Dion Clements, Allen Clements, Andrew Clements, Erin Sette, Emily McHugh; and 7 great grandchildren, Elise Sette, Jack Sette, Olivia Sette, Patrick McHugh, Caroline Hodi, Steven Hodi, and Alexander Hodi.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Joseph B. "Doc" Clements, Jr., daughter, Carolyn Clements Boney, granddaughter Marnie Clements; parents, Ollie Madison Keel and Pauline Wynn Keel, 4 siblings, Glyndol Keel, Gordon Keel, Raybon Keel, and Francine McDonald.
Native of Louisiana and resident of Kingwood TX, Edith was a loving wife, mother and friend to all who knew her. She was a generous friend to those around her.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be sent to American Heart Association .
