The Life of Eula Fay Andrews

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 am on Friday, January 7, 2011 in the Delhomme Chapel of the Flowers for Eula Fay Andrews, 90, who passed away on January 3, 2011 at 6:05 pm at The Suites at Sugar Mill Point in Houma, Louisiana. Reverend Steven Kelly, Pastor of Bayou Vista Baptist Church, will conduct the funeral services. Burial will take place in Lafayette Memorial Park Cemetery. Mrs. Andrews, a former resident of Lafayette, LA, was the daughter of the late Arthur Adkins of Athens, Louisiana and the former Bessie Walker of Shelby County, Texas. She was a wonderful cook and enjoyed fishing with her family at Toledo Bend. She loved her family dearly and will be sadly missed by them. She is survived by one daughter, Janice Andrews Ratcliff and husband Louis of Berwick, LA; one son, Troy Andrews, Sr. and wife Shirley of Thibodaux, LA; seven grandchildren, Lisa A. Ratcliff, Tricia R. Campbell, Beth R. DeLoach, Troy Andrews, Jr., Drew Andrews, Jerry Andrews, Jr., and Michelle L. Andrews; 3 great granddaughters and 10 great grandsons. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Vernon Andrews, and one son, Jerry Andrews, Sr. The family requests that visiting hours be observed at Delhomme Funeral Home of Lafayette on Friday from 9:00 am until the time of service. Pallbearers will be Troy Andrews, Jr., Drew Andrews, Craig Campbell, Bryant DeLoach, Johnny Sheppard, and Mike Lindsey.
