The Life of J.C. Joseph Comeaux
Funeral services will be held at a 10:00 am a Mass of Christian Burial on Monday, January 19, 2009 in the Delhomme Chapel of the Flowers for JC Joseph Comeaux, 79, who passed away on January 17, 2009 at 4:25 am at Our Lady of Lourdes Regional Medical Center.
Reverend John De Leeuw will be Celebrant of the Mass and will conduct the funeral services.
Interment will take place in Lafayette Memorial Park.
Mr. Comeaux, a resident of Lafayette, was the son of the late Jules Comeaux of and the former Lula Alleman. JC was retired from the State of Louisiana.
He is survived by his wife of 59 years, Anna Belle Comeaux, two daughters, Debra Ann Comeaux Barras and her husband, Eldon and Diane Touchet and her husband, Mike; five sons, Carroll James Comeaux and his wife, Patricia, Joseph Charles Comeaux and his wife, Emily, Allen James Comeaux and his wife, Hazel, David Joseph Comeaux and his wife, Mona and Michael Comeaux; two sisters, Margie C. Borrell and her husband, Albert and Rita C. Roy; three brothers, Eugene Comeaux, Kermit Comeaux and his wife Ruby and Aaron Comeaux and his wife, Linda; twenty grandchildren; and eighteen great grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents; one sister, Sadie Guidry; one brother, Belton Comeaux; and one grandson, Seth Joseph Comeaux.
The family requests that visiting hours be observed on Sunday from 10:00 am open all night until the time of services on Monday.
A rosary will be recited at 7:00 pm on Sunday evening at Delhomme Funeral Home of Lafayette.
