The Life of Jenny Dupuis

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM on Thursday, March 12, 2009 in the Delhomme Chapel of the Flowers for Jenny Payne Dupuis, 48, who passed away on March 9, 2009 at 1:41 PM at Methodist Hospital. Reverend Gary Funderburk, Assistant Pastor of East Bayou Baptist Church, will conduct the funeral services. Burial will take place in Lafayette Memorial Park Cemetery. Ms. Dupuis, a resident of Scott, LA, was the daughter of the late Paul Davis Payne of Liberty, Mississippi and the former June Anderson of Big Springs, Texas. She was a member of East Bayou Baptist Church. She will be dearly missed by her mother, daughters and grandchildren. She is survived by her mother, June Payne; four daughters, Jamie Hargrave Thevis and her husband Chad of Lake Arthur, LA, Jessica Hargrave Comeaux and her husband Freddie of Scott, LA, Jenna Leigh Hargrave of Scott, LA and Jenee'' Lynn Hargrave of Scott, LA; four grandchildren, Kallyn MaKay Clark, Allie Claire Comeaux, Zoe Ann Viator and Maddox Michael Comeaux; two brothers, Ben Davis Payne, Sr. and Raymond Paul Payne. She was preceded in death by her her father and one brother Tommy Ray Payne. The family requests that visiting hours be observed on Wednesday, March 11, 2009 from 4:00 pm to 10:00 pm and on thursday from 8:00 am until time of service at Delhomme Funeral Home of Lafayette. Pallbearers will be Chad Thevis, Freddie Comeaux, Ben Payne, Jr., Dereck Viator and Brandon Bivins. Delhomme Funeral Home, 1011 Bertrand Drive, Lafayette, is in charge of funeral arrangements.
