The Life of Marie Louise Comeaux
Funeral Services will be held at a 10:00 am Mass of Christian Burial on Friday, July 2, 2010 in the Delhomme Chapel of the Flowers for Marie Louise Comeaux, 98, who passed away on June 29, 2010 at 4:55 am at Bethany Healthcare.
Reverend Bryce Sibley, Pastor of Our Lady of Wisdom Catholic Church, will be Celebrant of the Mass and will conduct the funeral services.
Burial will take place in Lafayette Memorial Park Cemetery.
Mrs. Comeaux, a resident of Lafayette, LA, was the daughter of the late Lone Broussard and the former Laura Hebert, both of Vermilion Parish, Louisiana.
Molly made many friends while working for both Dr. Edward J. Hannie and Veron's. She was affectionately known as "Aunt Molly" to all at Veron's.
She is survived by three daughters, Sandra Proteau and husband, Paul, Brenda Buck and husband, David, and Cynthia Bangert and husband, Dan; one son, Carroll Comeaux and wife, Audrey; sixteen grandchildren and thirty two great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Calise J. Comeaux; one son, Hayward Comeaux; her dear companion, John Lemoine and eight siblings.
The family requests that visiting hours be observed on at Delhomme Funeral Home of Lafayette on Thursday from 10:00 am until 8:00 pm and will continue on Friday from 8:00 am until the time of service. A rosary will be recited on Thursday evening at 6:30 pm.
