The Life of Francis Joseph Broussard
A Memorial Mass will be held at 2:00 pm on Wednesday, November 25, 2009 in the Delhomme Chapel of the Flowers for Francis J Broussard, 78, who passed away on November 23, 2009 at 4:30 am at Our Lady of Lourdes Regional Medical Center.
Reverend Curtis Mallet, Pastor of St. Genevieve Catholic Church, will be the Celebrant of the Mass and will conduct the funeral services.
Mr. Broussard, a resident of Lafayette, LA, was the son of the late Joseph Broussard of Milton, Louisiana and the former Alta Chiasson of Lafayette, Louisiana.
He is survived by his wife, Marie "Malou" Kidder Broussard of Lafayette; three daughters, Charlene Broussard of Lafayette, Donna Broussard Jumonville of Scott, and Sandra Broussard Veazey of Lafayette; three sons, Marcus Broussard of Lafayette, Glenn Broussard of Henderson, and Steven Broussard of Scott; eleven grandchildren, Jennifer Landry Hollier, James Broussard, Stacy Broussard, Nicholas Broussard, John Landry, Max Broussard, Aaron Broussard, Jason Jumonville, Devin Wild, Mason Wild and Nicole Jumonville Fleury; six great-grandchildren, Lexi Hollier, Gavin Broussard, Logan Hollier, Kaitlyn Jumonville, Layne Jumonville, and Alysa Jumonville; two sisters, Dorothy Talkington of Baton Rouge, and Gloria Alleman of Lafayette.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
The family requests that visiting hours be observed on Wednesday, November 25, 2009 from 9:00 am until time of services at Delhomme Funeral Home of Lafayette.
Delhomme Funeral Home, 1011 Bertrand Drive, Lafayette, is in charge of funeral arrangements.
