The Life of Mary Rizzuto
Funeral Services will be held at a 10:00 am Mass of Christian Burial on Monday, January 3, 2011 at St. Pius X Catholic Church for Mary Rizzuto, 88, who passed away on December 29, 2010 at 6:45 pm at her residence.
Reverend Corey Campeaux, Associate Pastor of St. Pius X Catholic Church, will be Celebrant of the Mass and will conduct the funeral services.
Burial will take place in Lafayette Memorial Park Cemetery.
Mrs. Rizzuto, a resident of Lafayette, LA, was the daughter of the late Moise Dugas of Lafayette, Louisiana and the former Effie Hopkins of Lafayette, Louisiana. Mary retired from Chevron where she worked for many years. She was a member of St. Pius X Catholic Church.
She is survived by one son, Richard West and wife Ginny of Breaux Bridge; two granddaughters, Sherri West of Baton Rouge, LA and Jennifer West Moore and husband Kevin of Lafayette, LA; one grandson, Stephen West and wife Erica of Beaumont, TX; and seven great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents and her husband, Marion Joseph Rizzuto.
The family requests that visiting hours be observed at Delhomme Funeral Home of Lafayette on Sunday, January 2, 2011 from 3:00 PM until 6:00 PM. Visitation will continue on Monday at 8:00 AM until the time of services.
