The Life of Katherine Louise Henderson
A Rite of Christian Burial will be held at 1:30 pm on Sunday, February 1, 2009 in the Delhomme Chapel of the Flowers for Katherine Louise Henderson, 77, who passed away on January 29, 2009 at 9:34 am at the Heart Hospital of Lafayette.
Burial will take place in Lafayette Memorial Park Cemetery.
Mrs. Henderson, a resident of Lafayette, LA, was the daughter of the late Benjamin Guilbeau of Sunset, LA and the former Marie Sonnier of St. Landry Parish, LA. Katherine was co-owner of Lafayette Dental Lab. She was a member of St. Mary Church in Lafayette, LA.
She is survived by her husband, Charles Ray Henderson, Sr.; one daughter, Donna Hollier; three sons, Billy and his wife, Debi, Dickie and his wife, Flor and Pat Hollier; two step-sons, Randy Henderson and his wife, Christy and Chuck Henderson, Jr.and his wife, Karen; fourteen grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; one sister, Jackie Labbe and one brother, Floyd Guilbeau.
She was preceded in death by her parents .
The family requests that visiting hours be observed on Saturday, January 31, 2009 from 2:00 pm to 8:00 pm and will continue on Sunday from 10:00 am until time of service.
A rosary will be recited on Saturday at 6:00 pm at Delhomme Funeral Home of Lafayette.
Memorial contributions can be made in the name of Mrs. Henderson to the American Heart Association at P.O. Box 409410, Atlanta, GA 30384-9410.
Pallbearers will be Tim Hollier, Dickie Hollier, Chuck Henderson, Tyler Henderson, Jake Hollier and David Labbe. Honorary pallbearers will be Billy Hollier, Nicholas Hollier and David Connell.
Delhomme Funeral Home, 1011 Bertrand Drive, Lafayette, is in charge of funeral arrangements.
