The Life of Mary Addie Monteleone

Funeral services will be held at a 1:00 pm Mass of Christian Burial on Friday, January 30, 2009 in the Delhomme Chapel of the Flowers for Mary Addie Monteleone, 82, who passed away on January 28, 2009 at 12:17 am at Our Lady of Lourdes Regional Medical Center. Reverend Keith Landry, Associtate Pastor of Sacred Heart of Jesus Catholic Church, will be Celebrant of the Mass and will conduct the funeral services. Interment will take place in Holy Mary, Mother of God Cemetery. Mrs. Monteleone, a resident of Lafayette, was the daughter of the late Edmond Kilchrist and the former Honora Hebert of both Carencro. She was a member of St. Elizabeth Seton Catholic Church. She loved cooking, entertaining and traveling. She is survived by one daughter, Ellen Dugas and her husband, Jerry of Lafayette; two sisters, Lorraine Toups and Martha Trahan and her husband, Melvin of Carencro; two brothers, Victor Kilchrist and his wife, Delores of Lafayette and Dale Kilchrist and his wife, Paula of Carencro; one grandson, Darrin Navarre and his wife, Joy of Broussard; one great- grandchild, Connor Navarre; and her step-mother, Una Kilchrist of Carencro. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Stanley Monteleone; and one brother, Joseph Kilchrist. The family requests that visiting hours be observed on Thursday from 4:00 pm until 9:00 pm and on Friday from 8:00 am until the time of services at Delhomme Funeral Home of Lafayette. Pallbearers will be Dale Kilchrist, Victor Kilchrist, Jerry Dugas, Darrin Navarre, Melvin Trahan and Lance Bijeaux. Honorary pallbearer will be Connor Navarre. Delhomme Funeral Home, 1011 Bertrand Drive, Lafayette, is in charge of funeral arrangements
