The Life of Fay Guillot

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 am on Thursday, January 22, 2009 at Delhomme Chapel of the Flowers for Fay Mitchusson Guillot, 88, who passed away on January 19, 2009 at 9:25PM at Lafayette General Medical Center.

Reverend Noah Langley, will conduct the funeral services.

Burial will take place in Lafayette Memorial Park Cemetery.

Mrs. Guillot, a resident of Milton, was the daughter of the late H. V. Mitchusson and the former Myrtle Daniel of Blytheville, Arkansas.

She is survived by one daughter and her husband, Donna and James Picard of Milton; two grandchildren, Chris Picard and his wife Rachelle of Milton, Delisa Picard Brown and her husband Chad of Denver, CO.; four great grandchildren, Nicholas, Hannah, and Lindsey Picard and Collin Brown, one sister, Lois Carmon and numerous nieces and nephews whom she loved dearly.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Wilton Guillot; her parents; one brother, A. J. Mitchusson; three sisters, Cleo Tillman, Martha Jordan and Ruth Carmon.

The family would like to extend a special thanks to her caregiver, Marline Luman for her compassionate care.

The family requests that visiting hours be observed on Wednesday, January 21, 2009 from 4:00 pm to 8:00 pm and will continue on Thursday from 9:00 am until time of service at Delhomme Funeral Home of Lafayette.

Delhomme Funeral Home, 1011 Bertrand Drive, Lafayette, is in charge of funeral arrangements.
