The Life of Perry Mark Doyle

Memorial services will be held at 1:30 PM, Friday, June 2, 2006 at Martin & Castille Funeral Home of Lafayette. Reverend Monsignor Glen J. Provost of Our Lady of Fatima Church will conduct the services.Perry passed away Sunday, May 28, 2006, at the age of 49, with his wife Rachel and long time friend, James "Jimmy" Wells of Tallahassee, Florida, at his bedside. He was born July 30, 1956, in San Tome'', Venezuela, where his father was an employee of Halliburton Company. In August 1963, Perry and his family returned to the United States where they resided in Morgan City, Louisiana, until 1965 when the family relocated to Lake Charles, Louisiana. Perry graduated from Lake Charles High School in May 1974 and McNeese State University in December 1979.Survivors include his beloved wife of 15 years, Rachel Janet Doyle; one five year old son, John David Doyle; his mother, Jean Gennings Doyle of Lake Charles; one brother, Randy Craig Doyle of Broken Arrow, Oklahoma; two nieces and two nephews; and one aunt, Charlene Ford of Broken Arrow, Oklahoma.He was preceded in death by his father, Bill R. Doyle, and infant brother, Geoffrey Lynn Doyle.A native of Louisiana and resident of Lafayette, Perry was a wonderfully loving husband, father, son, brother, and friend to all who knew him. He was a member of Our Lady of Fatima Catholic Church community. He was a dedicated employee of Whitney National Bank as the Investment Consultant with Whitney Securities in Lafayette, Louisiana. Perry loved to hunt, fish and cook for his family. He will be deeply missed not only by family, friends, and co-workers but by all of those whose lives he has touched throughout the years.Visitation will be held at Martin & Castille Funeral Home on Thursday, June 1, from 12:00 PM until 10 PM and will continue on Friday, June 2, from 8:00 AM until time of service. Burial will be at Lafayette Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial donations be made to the American Cancer Society.P.O.
