The Life of Percy P Adams

Youngsvile – A Mass of Christian Burial for Mr. Percy Adams, 84, will be held at 11:00AM on Wednesday, February 9, 2011 at St. Anne Catholic Church with Fr. Anderson officiating. Visitation will be at David Funeral Home of Youngsville on Tuesday, February 8, 2011 from 4:00PM until 10:00PM with a recitation of the rosary at 7:00PM. Visitation will resume on Wednesday, February 9, 2011 from 8:00AM until the time of the services. Interment will follow at Lafayette Memorial Park Cemetery. A native of Kaplan and a resident of Youngsville Mr. Adams died at 10:58AM on Monday, February 7, 2011 at his residence. He proudly served his country in the U. S. Navy During WWII and The Korean Conflict. He is survived by his wife of 64 years, Mydis Primeaux Adams of Youngsville; two sons, Rick Adams of Scott and James Adams and his wife Brenda of Sunset; a daughter, Charlotte Clark and her husband Lee of Youngsville; a brother, Andrus Adams of Groves, TX; four sisters, Laura Adams of Lake Charles, Theola Guillot of Crowley, Shirley Dardar of Crowley, and Anna Mae Stoute of Crowley; four grandchildren, Dawn Adams, Amy and her husband Chuck Tuley, Jerrod Adams, and Teddy Clark; and two great grandchildren, Hailey Tuley and Ryann Tuley. He was preceded in death by his parents, Hypolite and Angela Meaux Adams; and two brothers, Milton Adams and Anthony Adams. Serving as pallbearers will be member of Mr. Adams family. David Funeral Home of Youngsville at 201 Lafayette St. (337)856-4155 will be handling the arrangements.
