The Life of Delbert B McClinton
Funeral services will be held on Monday, July 25, 2011 at a 10:00 AM Service at Lafayette Memorial Park Peace Chapel Mausoleum in Lafayette, for Delbert B. McClinton, age 87, who passed away on Thursday, July 21, 2011 at Point Coupee General Hospital in New Roads, Louisiana.
Entombment will be in Lafayette Memorial Park Cemetery Mausoleum.
Reverend Aldon Baudoin will conduct the funeral services.
Survivors include his wife of sixty four years, Ouida Ellison McClinton; a daughter, Deborah Belmont; and one son, Rickie McClinton; his grandchildren,Tara Todd, Kellie Newchurch and Bryan Chad McClinton; great grandchildren, Kailyn, Meagan, Zachary, Kamryn, Lauren, Grant, Holland, Ethan and Liliana.
He was preceded in death by his parents, John William McClinton and the former, Arizona Robertson.
Delbert B. McClinton was born on March 22, 1924 in Electra, Texas and was a resident of Livonia, Louisiana for forty five years. Mr. McClinton was a devoted husband and a loving father and grandfather, and will be dearly missed. He proudly served his country as a veteran of military service in the United States Marines.
The family requests that visitation be observed in Martin & Castille''s SOUTHSIDE location only on Sunday, July 24, 2011 from 5:00 PM until 9:00 PM.
