The Life of Wilbert Peter Roseberry
Funeral Services will be held Thursday, August 11, 2005 at a 2:00 PM Service in La Chapelle de Martin & Castille for Wilbert Peter Roseberry, age 75, who died Monday, August 8, 2005 at 9:35 AM at his residence in Broussard. Interment will be in Lafayette Memorial Park Cemetery. Reverend Russell Roseberry and Reverend John de Leeuw will conduct the Funeral Services. Survivors include four daughters, Patricia Arceneaux and her husband, Mike of Lafayette, Betty Guidry and her husband, Rene, Carol Romero and her husband, Jason and Carolyn Venable and her husband, Thomas all of Broussard; five sons, William Roseberry and his wife, Charlotte of DeRidder, Robert Roseberry and his wife, Georgia of Duson, Jun Roseberry of Abbeville, Tony Roseberry and his wife, Khris and Allen Roseberry and his wife, Carla, all of Broussard; twenty two grandchildren, twenty great grandchildren; three sisters, Mable Theriot of Lafayette, Ethel Babineaux of Carencro and Lynda Williams of Broussard and five brothers, Lee Roy Roseberry of Oklahoma, Paul Roseberry of Breaux Bridge, Joe Roseberry of Broussard, Harold Roseberry of Broussard and Russell Roseberry of Rayne. He was preceded in death by his loving wife, Sidonia Ewing Roseberry; his parents, Galbert and Enide Gary Roseberry; one brother, Donald Roseberry and one sister, Marie Latiolais. Mr. Roseberry was a native of Duson and a resident of Broussard for thirty years. He was a loving father, grandfather, great grandfather and friend to all. Mr. Roseberry was always available and willing to assist anyone in need. A Rosary will be prayed Wednesday at 7:00 PM in the Martin & Castille Funeral Home by Reverend John de Leeuw. The family requests that visiting hours be observed Wednesday from 10:00 AM until 10:00 PM and Thursday from 9:00 AM until time of services. The family would like to extend their appreciation to Drs.Christopher Fontenot, Gary Guidry, Stephen Salopek, A1 Nursing and Hospice of Acadiana. Also special thanks to Carol and Jason Romero and family, whom he lived with for thirteen years. Pallbearers are Jason Romero, Thomas Venable, Adam Romero, Rene Guidry, William Roseberry, Robert Roseberry, Paul Thibodeaux, Tony Roseberry, Allen Roseberry and Scott Taylor.Honorary pallbearers are Jacob Romero and Tavis Venable.
