The Life of Wade Judice

Funeral services will be held Saturday, December 6, 2008 at a 10:00 AM Mass of Christian Burial at St. Pius X Catholic Church for Mr. Wade Judice, 76 , who passed away suddenly on Wednesday, December 3, 2008 at the Heart Hospital of Lafayette. Interment will be in Lafayette Memorial Park Cemetery. Reverend Steve LeBlanc, Pastor of St. Pius X Catholic Church will be the Celebrant of the funeral Mass and will conduct the funeral services. Lectors will be his daughters-in-law, Denise Judice and Noelle Judice. Survivors include his loving wife of 53 years, Bonnie Langlinais Judice of Lafayette; one daughter, Liz Ewing and her husband, Wilson of Youngsville; four sons, Chris Judice and his wife, Brenda, Kevin Judice, Doug Judice and his wife, Denise and Steve Judice and his wife, Noelle, all of Lafayette; grandchildren, Kirstin Labauve and her husband, Steve, Christa Judice, Skye Broussard, Katie and Madi Judice, Sarah Judice, Jack and Will Judice and Jennifer Tuttle; three great grandchildren, Maxey Labauve, Sydnie Labauve and Parker Labauve; one sister, Lucille Trahan of Rayne and one brother, Edwin Judice and his wife, Doris of Lafayette. He was preceded in death by his parents, John and Emily Breaux Judice; one sister, Edna Mae Grossie; his brothers, Johnny, Harry, Louis, Lee, Dave and Jerome Judice; one granddaughter, Crystal Broussard and a son-in-law, Danny Broussard. A native of Scott and a resident of Lafayette for most of his life, Mr. Judice was a loving husband, father, grandfather, great grandfather and brother. Prior to his retirement, he was employed for many years as an electrician. Mr. Judice was a veteran of military service, having served in the United States Air Force during the Korean War. He was a devout catholic and was a member of St. Pius X Catholic Church. Mr. Judice contributed his time as a Baseball Coach in Pony League and proudly took the City Championship several times. He was also an avid gardener. Mr. Judice enjoyed spending time with his family, especially his children and will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved him. Pallbearers will be Chris Judice, Kevin Judice, Doug Judice, Steve Judice, Wilson Ewing and Steve Labauve. Honorary pallbearers are Kenneth Duhon, Agustin "June" Brasher, Edwin Judice and C. Babineaux. A Rosary will be prayed Friday at 7:00 PM in the Martin & Castille Funeral Home by Laura and the Rosary Group from St. Pius X Church. The family requests that visitation be observed Friday from 11:00 AM until 9:00 PM and Saturday from 8:00 AM until time of service.
