The Life of Lloyd James Guilbeau Jr.
Funeral services will be held on Friday, November 23, 2007, at a 2:00 PM Mass of Christian Burial in Our Lady of Fatima Catholic Church in Lafayette, for Lloyd James Guilbeau, Jr., 73, who passed away peacefully on Sunday, November 18, 2007 at Memorial Specialty Hospital in Lufkin, Texas.Interment will be in Holy Mary Mother of God Cemetery. Reverend Michael Russo, Pastor of Our Lady of Fatima Catholic Church in Lafayette, will be the Celebrant of the Funeral Mass and will conduct the funeral services. Jodi Bollich, soloist, accompanied by Jason Pennington, organist, will sing "Just A Closer Walk With Thee", "The Old Rugged Cross", "On Eagle''s Wings" and "Ave Maria" for the services. Survivors include one aunt, Margaret P. Chriceol and her husband Walter; and many cousins.He was preceded in death by his parents, Lloyd and Martha Pierret Guilbeau.A native of Lafayette Parish and a resident of Lufkin, Texas, Lloyd Guilbeau, Jr. was a loving person and will be missed by all who knew him.The family requests that visitation be observed on Friday, November 23, 2007 from 1:00 PM until time of services at Our Lady of Fatima Catholic Church.
